The problem I'm having is that both of the above methods do an "auto-fade" that starts automatically or on SceneStart / SceneEnd. I may try again, however, because the current method I am using - the GuiTexture based screen fader outlined in the Stealth project - isn't working out too well I have considered PsychicParrot's method using OnGUI DrawTexture, but have had some problems with it.
